2009 Nevada Youth Soccer Photo Contest Winners Announced

You never cease to amaze us.

In May, we opened the submission window for the 2nd Annual Nevada Youth Soccer photo contest, and WOW! We received more than 50 submissions from photographers all across the state, showing the great (and not so great!) moments from games at all levels of play, including U7 recreational right on up to U18 competitive.

When we first started this contest in 2008, we weren't sure what to expect. But in the two years since, we've been amazed by the photographic talent and keen eye for light, positioning and detail that our members possess. Great job!

We published the 10 finalists in the August 2009 online edition of Goal Nevada and asked you to vote for your favorites. Thank you to all of the photographers who contributed their efforts to this year's contest — and remember, keep those cameras clicking! Next year's winning photo could be yours!
