Nevada Refs Earn Prestigious
National Selections

Congratulations to Jeff Arthurholtz, Cedric Adams and Charles Farr on being selected to officiate at the United States Youth Soccer 2010 National Championships!

They were three of the Far West Regional Representatives at the National Championships in Overland Park, Kans., July 20-25. They were part of the 15-member Region IV team of referees selected as a result of their performance at the this year's United States Youth Soccer 2010 Far West Regional Championships in Albuquerque, N.M. For Cedric and Charles, the event marked a return to Nationals for a second straight year, while Jeff was been named the Head of Delegation for the Far West Regional referees.

Jeff, Cedric and Charles were three of 11 referees and two referee assessors from our state who officiated at the Far West Regional Championships. All 11 referees were assigned quarterfinal matches and a record five were assigned finals, including Jeff, Cedric, Charles, Scott Conner and Lauren Thomas.
