Help A Las Vegas Player Realize Her Dream!

My name is Aurora Alba. I am a senior at Lyon College, graduating in 2009 with an English degree. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to play professional soccer. In the summer of 2008, I was invited to play with the Harvard Sports Select women’s soccer team in Holland, Belgium and Germany. This invitation represents a once-in-a-lifetime chance for me to receive the international experience and exposure that I need in order to merit consideration for the 2009 Women’s Premier Soccer draft.

I have worked hard all of my life for this dream. Being a small player from Las Vegas, however, I have had to overcome many obstacles, including physical and financial ones. This opportunity represents my best chance yet to demonstrate my talent — and the talent being produced every day by Nevada Youth Soccer.

But I need your help! I unfortunately do not have the financial resources necessary to fund my portion of this trip. Thus, I am turning to my Nevada Youth Soccer family for support. Any donation you would be willing to make would be overwhelmingly appreciated and helpful in my effort to pursue a professional career. I promise that your investment will not be taken for granted, and that I will try my hardest every step of the way.

Thank you!
